Moonlight is the bittersweet and haunting first single from MoRoots' forthcoming album "From The Sun".
Building its melody around the timeless opening notes of Claude Debussy's "Claire De Lune", this is a soulful, timeless love song from a major new African talent.

​MoRoots is a proudly Ugandan singer, songwriter, composer, saxophonist and classical pianist, based in London and Kampala, Uganda.
Combining her classical musical training with her lengthy experience in Jazz and Blues, MoRoots’ music can be described as Future-Afro-Soul. It’s a mash-up of Funk, RnB, Neo-Soul, Electronic experimentation and a strong influence of African rhythms.
